Owen is almost 1 year old. His birthday is on the 10th of October. Things fly so quickly! He is walking all over the place now. I look forward to hanging out with him in the snow and throughout the winter in the cold… cause cold is cool.

I watched the Apple Keynote today as they announced the iPad. I have been following the rumors for quite some time now, and I have to say my hopes were pretty high. I was expecting Apple to blow me away with something so out of the box that I wouldn’t even believe. Now, when I look back and actually put reality into place, I realize I was asking too much. Nonetheless, during the keynote I was getting a little upset that certain things didn’t happen. But once the presentation was done and I sat on the idea for about an hour, I basically had found about 10 reasons why I needed one. It’s funny how that works. It’s a pretty cool device and I’m really excited to see how this changes things in the tech world. I’m really excited to play with one, even if I can’t actually afford to buy one. I’m hoping when they go on sale I’ll find an extra $700 somewhere. We’ll see.
